Default Blinds & Shutters

On the recommendation of another TOTV member I recently purchased Plantation Shutters from Carl Seigal of Blinds Plus Shutters. He was very easy to work with and made the purchase very easy. His number is 352-430-7200. Good Luck!

Patches,

We also bought from Carl and recommended him. He works with no real overhead so his prices are good - and the quality of work is excellent.

Thanks. I'm going to give Carl a call. Also checking out Home Depot and ordering online from American Blinds in MI. Anyone have any experience with either of these?

We also used Carl for plantation shutters... for every window except the sliding glass doors. His measurer/installer did a superb job.

I also used Carl Segal and was very pleased. We replaced our blinds with Plantation Shutters. Therefore I have blinds for the whole house sitting in my garage. They are only 1 year old and would like to sell them for a reasonable amount.

Got a quote from Rick at 48 hour blinds. Seems I read in previous thread that he is good. Any comments on him. Thanks

We have ordered many mini blinds and pleated shades from American Blinds and have been very happy with the cost, quality and service. I started ordering from them many years ago, when it took like six weeks to get an order from a window store, it took American Blinds just days.

Others seem very happy with Carl, so maybe compare prices and consider that Carl's are probably installed, and go from there. That is what we are likely to do when we get into our new to us home next month.

Had 4 estimates but Carl was waaaaaaaaaaaaay too expensive for what I wanted. I was referred to Rick of 48 Hour Blinds by virtually ALL of my new neighbors. He measured on Tuesday, made the blinds on Wednesday and installed them on Thursday before our movers got there. GREAT job and I would highly recommend him.

IN addition to blinds, if you are looking for something to cover 4 sliding glass doors, we have SHEER RADIANCE FABRIC VERTICALS .center opening...that are available. These verticals are only 2 years old come from a Designer home and need to remove them due to a remodel project.

Default need blinds

We purchased blinds and window treatments from Kathy at Village Blind and Shutter......beware.
She said we couldn't have split window treatments (found out later we could have had with another vendor) and now...
months later, our front window blinds won't go down! Called them and they said they are not under warrenty of any kind!!!

When you are new...take your time. Best advise I can give you.

Yes, I would be interested in these, if they are within my "moving budget" . Send me a PM with price and if acceptable, I'll come look at them TODAY.
