Default Heating & Air Conditioning Lanai

Would like names of contractors for HVAC Lanai. Looking to install Mitsubishi Unit.

Does anyone know if this will add to our taxes? The lanai is already enclosed with thermal pane windows.

Anyone know of companies to blow in insulation over lanai and garage.

I'm going to try and have A/C and heat run off the present system . The work is scheduled for next week. I'm told it will work. Check with me later.

We had a Mitsubishi "Mr. Slim" mini split system installed a couple of years ago.

We had various quotes for the same part numbered units and decided on Daniel's Heating and AC in Inverness.

They are a Mitsubishi Diamond (approved) contractor and the price was better than anyone else. Installation was on time and professionally done.

Then had Insulco add insulation over the lanai.

We just had M&S air conditioning install 2 mini-split units, 1 for Lanai and 1 for 20 x 20 addition. Great price and excellent install. Contact Jim Macdonald 352-397-1113

We are considering adding one of these Mitsubishi units to our new sun room. However, my husband is concerned that they might be quite noisy. Can anyone comment on that? (We do enjoy hearing the birds outside).

The ductless units are hardly noticeable thou it your install requires a condensate pump you may hear a slight growl every now and then.

if your hvac contractor is going to run new supply and return insulated ducts from both supply and return plenums to lanai... border line OK... if he is tying into the nearest supply and return ducts already servicing interior rooms.... fire him

Had this work completed. Day time with sun shine coming in, 3 degrees diff, afternoon and evening same as inside home temp. Saved a ton of money

we also got ours from m& s they were the most reasonable out of all 5 that I got quotes from. does not make any noise. we had it in stalled on a 15 X 30 lanai. works great. easy on the electric also.

With regard to you other question on taxes, suggest you call the local county office and ask. I may be wrong but I think the taxes are based on heated/air conditioned space. I have know idea what happens if they find out later.......

Is approval needed from the ARC to install split units?

Thanks! We've been mulling putting one in the bedroom so we can keep it low for comfort but not have to cool the whole house at night.

Default HVAC Sun Room

Desantis of Wildwood... Just a fine HVAC Company to work with...Owner
Frank will visit your home... I put in a 2 Ton Unit.. Room 15 x 32 afternoon sun.... quite... efficient just perfect for heat and air condition.
Very fair pricing and quite neat workmanship!

Do not use your current HVAC system... it will never stop running nor the electric bill along with it... too much to add and expect the house unit to handle.

It will cost you approx. $500.00 to add insulation to the ceiling of the lanai.
Depending on the thickness needed or amount to add to the present.
