Default Laundromat in T.V.??

Can anyone tell me if there is a laundromat in The Villages. If so...is it clean and does it have a jumbo washer?? I have a comforter that could use some freshening.

ON page 329 of TV phone book is listing for Rock & Wash and they have large 60lb washers. I assume you have a phone book?

there's 1 at LAPLAZA GRANDE (HWY 441) between WinnDixie & Publix

And yes it's clean with oversize equipment & good assistance if needed.

I do have a phone book....!! Was easier to ask the question here since I was reading the links and the question occurred to me! Such a smartie question in answer to mine (which I wasn't expecting actually). Next time, thanks to you, I'll have to look at it!

Be careful, I had a bad experience washing my comforter there. I put in too much detergent and had to run the rinse cycle twice more. The attendant will advise you how much detergent to use.

You are right to be disappointed at one of the replies. You will note, though, that most were either witty or helpful. Do not despair.

Default Thanks Indy!!

Yes...I know that some people can't resist to have a quick come-back! I'm not new on here so know that "some" just need to have those to share...in the class-room it "could be" called bullying. But here...well I'll just have to say that's a sad commentary. I did come in "good faith" to ask a question and really hoped for some help (and there were kind people who gave it). To be honest---the "old phone-book" we had had, really wasn't "user friendly" (my humble opinion) but thank you to the "smart answerer" I got to use our new one, after his suggestion and found it's much, much easier than it's predecessor. I'd always thought however, that this site was for asking questions and getting help. For the most part it is and for that I'm grateful!!

Actually the phone book would not have answered your inquiry about the cleanliness of their establishment. It's always nice to have a good recommendation.

Jen, this site sure is for information sharing. I always like to get a personal recommendations before using a service or contractor or restaurant. Please keep asking questions!

P.S. If you live on the West side of TV, there are good laundromats in Wildwood with large machines.

Good point!!!!! Yes...wanted recommendations that would lead me to the best establishment, for sure. Bogey really didn't read EVERYTHING I was looking for.

There was ONE more person who gave me a good tip on this as well referring to Wildwood having one!!! I'm not sure where this would be. Is it in the strip mall where the post office is?? I'll have to do some scoping out!!

Jen, we have washed our king-size comforters at a Laundromat in Wildwood. It is convenient for us because we live on the West side of TV. The Laundromat seemed clean to me. It is on the west side of 301 (RIGHT hand side going south on 301) ... in the same plaza with the large grocery store, I think it is a Winn-Dixie.

I appreciate your tip and yes...Wildwood would work for us as well! I will check it out! I had also wondered about our king-sized comforter..as it's heavy as well as the size. Will take both perhaps. ONE more question since I've not utilized laundromats since the early years of our marriage which would put us back many years---what would the cost of a wash cost, along with the drying????
