Does cost $3 per day or $5 for two dogs per day. And you can get a month for $25 or $30 for two dogs. You may want to check that and they kick aggressive dogs out at their discretion. Seems to be a case-by-case basis. Dogs need to be up-to-date on shots and stuff. You need to fill out an application showing shots as current and the pooches need to be fixed. 16 weeks too their sign says.
Great place. Been going there since November of 2006 while looking for a dog then with dogs since January 2007. Good thing is that you mark the dog's poop and they pick it up. There's a lot of socializing there so often the poop is left where it was dropped and is unflagged due to people talking about this-and-that so carry extra flags when walking around and mark the feces. |

![]() Don't waste your money. Atlas dog park on Moyer Loop is "free" to all Villages residents. WE pay $150 a month amenity fee, as do you. Might as well take full advantage of it. |

This is also very close to Tall Trees. I knew a man named Terry with a dog name Bogie who used to come to Doggie Doo Run Run. He was one of the people who teaches foreign service kids at their stations abroad. He lived in Tall Trees. Still may too. Have not seen him in years though.
Some dogs do not fit in there all that well. Atlas Dog park is nice but quite a long ride down there from Tall Trees. |

I think DDRR is worth it for the many places to sit, the three large fields plus agility area, the doggie pool (shaded, fenced, and cement-block floor), and the trees and other shaded areas. It takes me 20 minutes from Tamarind Grove (just off 466A) to get up there by taking 301 to 104 to 101. The pool is small, but a certain golden retriever prefers it to running around the park. I take a book; he bats a tennis ball around in the water.

My husband has been taking our dogs (now a Gordon and English Setter, previously we had an Irish Setter) for four and a half years. The Villages dog parks are fine for dogs that are smaller or larger dogs who do not need a good work out. But Doggie Doo Run has acres and the dogs are able to really get out and run. My husband also enjoys the walk rather than in a smaller park going in circles. The owner Scott stays on top of things there. You need to identify what is best for your dog(s) and where their energy is best met. Coming from Seattle where there are magnificent dog parks along the water and in the woods, the limited park availability around The Villages for dogs makes us grateful for this park at $30 a month.

In the upper right of the header is "location", the OP has Tall Trees listed, mine has Tamarind Grove. If you go to your 'usercp' and click on 'user details' and then location you can enter one for yourself. It sometimes saves posting, for example no one had to ask this poster where they live, we already knew.

At Doggie Doo Run you have to have papers showing proof of vacanations and the dog must be fixed.. The Village's dog park do not have that restriction, therefore I would not take my dog to a park where there could be a dog with disease or an aggressive dog due to him/her not being "fixed".
