Default COMCAST Channels

Recently I have noticed that some channels have "disappeared" from some of my televisions in my home, but not others. Specifically, Comcast Channel 70 (TruTV) will not come up on two of my TV sets but comes in fine on one TV. The one that gets Channel 70 OK also have a "complimentary" Comcast box attached to convert analog to digital for older TVs. The other two TV's don't need the converter. I was wondering if anyone else had experienced a loss of Comcast channels and if you knew why, or how to correct it>

Channel 70 also disappeared for us last week. I called them and within 20 minutes it was back on.

I called Comcast this morning. Their Customer Service Representative (an oxymoron if I ever saw one) told me that to get Channel 70 (TruTV) on my new digital TV's I needed to "rent" a Comcast box for each set. Just another way to gouge more money out of us. That was a channel that was included in my 'package' and now I have to pay extra to see it. I don't think so. I am now on the lookout for alternatives to internet (yes, I use cable today) and Television. I'll be saying adieu to Comcast as soon as I can get replacements in place.

I had Comcast up north. ( need I say more?) We just moved into our new home and will have direct TV hooked-up Thursday. There is a representative (nice guy) who is set up at Sam's Club that will help you.
