I also agree, Tim 'The Toolman' Miller 352-217-0561. You could go to search at the top of the page and you would find his name in 38 threads, that's how I found his name almost six years ago. The last time I read on a thread, Tim charged $195 for wooden steps and $290 for aluminum steps installed with 3 or 4 sheets of plywood flooring added in the attic. With the Florida heat I would go with aluminum, which we did. Tim will not do insulation, so if you want to put some batting down in the garage ceiling, do it before he comes.
Tim is usually booked up about a week or more in advance, but the best is worth waiting for. Tim is a handyman and can do many other jobs. Another job he did was doubled the shelving rack in our master walk-in closet. He moved the existing shelving up about 18" and then installed a duplicate a little lower than the original height and patched and painted all the holes. Shirts go on top and pants on the bottom, doubled our closet size exactly, best $150 I've spent on our home.
