Default They did it!

Hi Guys,

Well they did it

Four weeks to the day and we put the hose in to start to fill it up.

So they are well on course to complete within the four to five weeks as they promised.

We are well pleased. Remember the name if you want one, 'Fiesta Pools of Ocala'

Here are a few photos of;

A couple of Solar Panels being fitted on the SSE roof (we also have 7 on the SSW roof), we are having the work done by SolarLights

Putting on the finish coat to the interior of the Spar and Pool, note the 'foam shoes' !

Using an Acid wash to make the interior sparkle.

Hi Guys,

Just a couple more of the pool with water in, almost full after just over 24hours.

The guys are coming tomorrow (Monday) to fit the Birdcage, they called on site last Friday and said that they had just received the permit (on Thursday) and so were coming straight over to fit it.

We should be taking a dip in it in another two or three days - can't wait.

Hi Guys,

A real hive of activity this morning (Monday of week five).

There are the normal Fiesta team, plus 2 guys working on the Birdcage, plus 2 guys putting the finish in our Lanai to match the finish on the deck area.

Fiesta are setting up the pumps and flow etc and it is great to see water flow from the jets in the pool.

As usual with anyone Fiesta send on site, the birdcage guys are measuring twice and cutting the material once, even using a theodolite to ensure everything is level before mounting anything!

Default Pool Party

Hi All,
Just had the inaugural pool party for some of our close friends.

Had 33 people there and it held them well.

Quite a few tried the Lazy River and all appeared to enjoy it, followed by a dip in the Hot Spa.

Quite a night and well happy with the whole project, price, time scales and standard.

Well done Fiesta Pools of Ocala!

Default just a couple of points

Hi all,
Just a couple of points;

If anyone is thinking of copying us and putting in a pool with an island and a lazy river feature;

1. The 6ft 6in wide lazy river swimming loop with 18in ledge and jets mounted above it, moves the water real fine and it is great for floating around, but it is a touch narrow for swimming in, it really needs to be 7ft 6in wide, but still retaining the 18in ledges.

2. The 3 lights around the island and pool is not quite enough, it should have had 4 or 5 (Fiesta suggest it but we didn't think we needed more - we were wrong).

Other than that, everything has turned out really well.

We know that we keep saying it, but the whole Fiesta team did a superb job at the right price and on time and if we had to be really critical it is that you need to get David's (one of the Haywood brothers who own Fiesta) telephone number right at the start of the project and not keep having to go through the sales guy Stewart all the time if you have any queries or need any questions answering - other than that, we can't fault them.

Whilst we don't recommend it and I am sure that the Fiesta team would rather you didn't, we changed a few minor things as the construction was on going and the brothers just took it all in their stride and even suggested to us a couple of bits that they thought were better (which we agreed with) as the work progressed.
