Garbage disposall

I would like to replace the crummy garbage disposall that came with my house with a better one. Anyone have suggestions as to manufacturer? And who to install it?

Bought an Insinkinator on line for $165.00 last yr. & had it installed for $50.00 in Wis. (I hate doing plumbing)
