We also used Superior Concrete Design. The weather conditions were somewhat rainy/humid and the work was done over a 3-4 day period to acid wash, paint two coats, speckle, and then the finish epoxy coat. They crew knows temps and humidity to do the work in (to make sure the floor dries in between). Woody was great at communicating the timing for each day. There is a period of time after they are finished you can't park in the garage to cure the floor. Our garage floor looks beautiful! We are happy with their professional work and our floor!

I very rarely do recommendations, because there is always a risk of hurting MY reputation if for some reason things do not go well. That being said, I have inspected hundreds of homes here in The Villages, and I can spot a garage floor job by Tim Miller a mile away. Tim does an excellent job and have not once seen any problems with his work.

I met Tim once and he seemed like a very likable, trusting person. His work is top notch, and having spoken to dozens of his customers, I have never heard anything but glowing testimonies about him. Tim would be the first and most likely the only call I would make.

I do not benefit at all from saying this, but when I see good work from a good person, it is worth passing on. I have only two other comments on Epoxy floors....

1) If you have a model that has any floor space INSIDE the utility closet, make sure this area is done, as I se many times this area missed.

2) IMPORTANT- make SURE an anti slip additive, like "Shark-Grip" be added to the clear overcoat. These floors get wet, and can be slippery. USE SHARK-GRIP.

An epoxy floor makes clean up a pleasure. I did my own garage floor and am veery pleased....

Hope that helps!

Omar did our garage floor in June. He was personally on the job each of the three days.
He is very careful and takes pride in his work.
