Default Grout Sealer satisfied customer

Last June when we closed on our home prior to moving in we had all our tile sealed by Pat Moore. We felt he did an excellent job and was very thorough in explaining to us in how to care for our tile, and we have lots of tile! He said to call if we had any problem or to call in 6 mos and he would return to clean the floor.

I called him the other day to have him come clean the floor and also because we noticed that there was some discoloration especially in the kitchen area to the grout that we just couldn't get clean. Pat got down to the root of the problem and re-sealed my kitchen, laundry room, and bathroom (my living room was fine) and re-sealed my shower area. The problem was due to low quality grout that was laid down from the Villages.

It says a lot about a business when they stand by their products and their services. I give a big Kudos to Pat Moore Professional Carpet and Tile @ 352-516-3565.

Pa and Giggi:

Can you tell me how he cleans it? Down on hands and knees with cleaning agents or does he use a steam machine?

Carla,

When he applied the almond color initially to my grout, it was applied on his hands and knees. He has a big machine that he uses to clean over the surface afterwards after all this is a large area that he is cleaning up.

Yesterday, he was cleaning up with scrub brushes on his hands and knees and then acid in the shower area. He did a great job restoring the job to make it look like new again. He also leaves behind a gallon of cleaner to spot clean anything that might have fallen on the floor. Just a bit of this spray and a wipe and it cleans up.

Many thanks for the explanation. I've heard many on here say he does a great job but I didn't know how he does it.

What brand of spot cleaner does he recommend?

He was out last month to take care of some discoloration on our tile too. He did the seal job about 1 1/2 years ago. Said I should have called him ealier. He was on my to do list. He took care of everything while he was here. It was a problem with the last cleaner we got from him and he replaced what we had left with new cleaner. I feel good about always referring people to Pat More.

I don't know what the brand is because he leaves it in a gallon jug and there is no label on it. Not sure if it is his own mix or if he buys in large amounts and then separates it into gallons for his customers.

I do think he buys it in large quantities then puts it in the large plastic jugs. I just know it works great and my floor always looks great and is easy to take care of.

Just had Pat More, Professional Carpet and Tile, here to seal our grout and clean our tile in all the wet areas. Great work!! He was running late so he brought in the "family" to help out to get in done that night. He cleaned, sealed, and buffed all the tile when done. Set up heaters in the shower area to help to dry it so he could apply the sealer. The sealer he uses does not darken the grout either, since that was an issue was us.
