I have seen posts recommending Dawn Baker Lawn Service.
I had bad experience with them, neighbor has used them with good results. I am back and forth from NC, and had hired them lApril, 2018. Trip down Nov. and saw the guy driving really fast, jerking mower around, damaging sod, my colored coated concrete was skinned and damaged in several places....from weedeater. Sprinkler heads had been replaced last Dec. before I hired them
and now I have 10 that will have to be replaced. Called them and Dawn & Joe Baker were very rude, they came out and saw damage, asked if that wasn't there before (you could tell not) and took no responsibility for repair. The company who did the concrete was nice enough to do the repair and said it was obvious it had just been done. They advertise insured, however, they don't take responsibility. They wanted to keep doing my lawn....can't afford the damage repairs!! You are their customer when paying, however, when they are at fault, you are not. Do not recommend them...find reputable co. I was charged $275 for mulch for a front flower bed, and they kept blowing most back into the yard with blower....had to ask several times not to blow mulch out...not considerate of client.

We have been using them for probably 5 yrs now..... no problems. If any complaints, it is taken care of immediately. Dawn is always very cordial on the phone and willing to "make anything right" Have never had any damage to sod from the mowers. I do find that when I call anyone with any complaint, I am always friendly and polite.... never accusatory.... maybe it is how we approach the subject that results in a positive vs negative response.
