I would strongly recomend Hill's gutters. Outstanding service and price. They're in the phone book.

And you get a 3rd Atta Boy from here for Hill's. We had it done while we were in NJ and they did a beautiful job which was completed before we arrived for our next visit. Also recommended them to our neighbor and they used them also and were well satisfied with the price and job.

YUP Hills is my choice after getting five estimates. Never even met directly with them since I still work. They knew what I needed before I told them. Don't waste your time, call them.

Default How many gutters are needed?

Are gutters needed on all sides of your home in FL? When we lived up north and had a basement, we needed them all around the house. When we moved to Houston we thought we should also get them around the entire house, but found it really wasn't needed. The soil in Houston is what's called gumbo and actually pulls the moisture out of your foundation which causes cracking and major foundation damage. We water our foundation in extended dry periods to prevent foundation damage. I thought maybe in FL gutters on the front and back would be enough, but what do you recommend?

We had just gutters on the front but none on any other side. When it rained hard water would come under the wall on the Lani this was before Debbie and with the gutters up no water came under wall on the Lani. The price was even better and they did a great job and I would use them again anytime.

I used James Stipes on my last three homes. does a great job and is very reasonable. it cost me $455.06 for 179 feet plus six downspouts on our Gardenia. 352-390-7744.

Due to recommendations from Talk of the Villages, I went with Hills. Not sure about others experience, but I found their clean up sloppy. The day after their work I was walking my dog and found at least 10 small white screws at the end of my driveway where they put the metal together. I then started to walk around my house and found large & small chunks of metal and about 60 more large & small screws in and around my bushes and out in the yard. Hopefully, I won't get a flat tire from going in and out of my driveway the day they did their work or have a screw shoot out of lawn mower and hurt someone. Not sure I would recommend them again.
