If you are in the market for wood laminate floors, I recommend you consider East Coast Flooring. I always get three bids for major jobs … East Coast should be one of the three on your list. The sales guy to call is Ted Rodriguez, 352.307.9995. He is very customer focused and knowledgeable. EC has a large selection, and they offer quality products. In particular, and unlike some of the other companies I’ve dealt with since moving to TV, EC is very good at following up with the customer. I really like that.
Darrell and his 3 person crew did the installation. We were very impressed at their level of workmanship and attention to detail, particularly on sanding/painting and reinstalling the baseboards. In short, my wife and I are happy EC customers. |

I second the motion. We had East Coast Flooring install engineered lumber and our experience was every bit as good as the original poster. The installation crew was outstanding!

Our large install required over 1600 sq. ft. of laminate flooring to be laid over existing tile plus in the bedrooms and closets after removing the carpet. Once the carpet was removed there was a difference in height between the tiled rooms and the ones that were carpeted. They used a cement mix to gradually ramp the tiled rooms into the uncarpeted ones so once the flooring was down there would be no noticeable difference in height. We also opted to have the baseboards removed and the laminate installed under them. What a beautiful job they did and the floor looks like it was installed when the house was built. We took a 3 day vacation so Darrell and his crew could work without us being underfoot. Our neighbors said that they put in long days and were quiet workers (which they appreciated). East Coast Flooring is an excellent company to deal with and Darrell and his crew are topnotch. Here are some pictures of the finished job. |
