Default Has anyone had columns removed from a Gardenia?

Want to remove the columns between the living room and dining room. Any suggestions? Would appreciate any help.

We removed the center column in our Gardenia - it is not load bearing. We also removed the drop down ceiling area from between the two columns.

The removed column was installed on the angled wall by the living area.

We are very happy with the result. It opened up the area and made the living and kitchen areas much lighter.

Who did the work for you? Were you pleased with them?
