Default Help unloading truck in TV

I am arriving with a 16 foot truck full of stuff that will need to be unloaded on October 18. Does anyone know if there are people who can be hired to help unload. Most everything will be in boxes. I'm bringing very little furniture as I am renting a fully furnished home. I will put most everything just in the garage so it is not a big job but it would be wonderful to have other help besides just myself and my son.

Call a local U Haul or Budget truck rental place - they typically have numerous contacts of people that will load/unload (we just did that in DC and Budget directed us to some wonderful people - they charged $100 an hour and well worth it).

Here are a couple of possibilities I have on my list of services in TV that you can contacting to see if they're available:
  • Joe Mussio 352-350-4664 - Delivered furnature to us from Nerleenew Furnature and they do hire for this kind of service last I knew of.
  • Troy at 352-874-8958 - a young person that I've seen recommended previously here on TOTV.

Default Try www.craigslist.com

I would go to www.craigslist.com and choose the Ocala region. This covers The Villages.

Under SERVICES you will see a subcategory called LABOR/MOVERS, and you'll find tons of people who will be willing to do heavy lifting, etc. You may need to filter the jobs wanted by Lady Lake or The Villages to find ones closest to you.

We used G and G Five Star movers. They were great! I recommended them to Gracie and she was pleased with them as well. Number is four zero seven-two seven six-two two five two. They were very nice, on time and did a great job at a great price.

We used them too, due to Ladydoc's recommendation and were very pleased with them, their good attitude and hard work and reasonable cost.

These are two great folks!

Unloading...don't think you want day laborers as they will know what you got and where you live kind of deal. Not profiling whatsoever...you just need to know who you are working with in case something happens later down the road.
Isn't is a shame to even consider thoughts like this but with golf clubs being swiped...who knows.

Default Unloading

I have used Tri-County Movers out of Ocala for several jobs. Call Bobby at 352-208-5288. He charges by the job and does not have a 3 hour minimum like most local companies. He is licensed and bonded.
