Buying a patio villa soon and will rent until we retire in a year or so. I am looking for a good home watch service that could also service renters (be contact person for keys, check house when they depart and order or do cleaning). I am new at this so any help would be appreciated.

We listed our house on villages4rent.com, you manage the rental yourself. Then we used the village home watch, listed on that site. They will check your house while,you are gone, and when you have renters they will check on them, and when they leave they will arrange to have the house cleaned, and let you know,the condition they left,the house in. The only thing they can't do is,turn over keys to the renter. We just mailed the keys to the renters.

I have a Patio home and am in a similar situation I use charelene from the Village sitter. I couldn't ask for better service. She sends a monthly report telling when she visited and what was done. She also sends pics of anytHing questionable and has been very professional. She is insured and bonded which was important to me also.

Try redwitch on this forum. She does a great job for everything you want. She knows how to get things done when you have a problem. And you need that being a remote rental manager.

Big vote for Charlene. Charelene from the Village sitter is a great person. We have used her servcies for a year now. She ALWAYS goes above and beyound. We consider her and her husband Steve our friends.

I closed on a house last month and chose Redwitch, for the number of positive replies from clients on TOTV. Since the closing we have had people come in to do work and give estimates, Dee has been nothing short than professional, when necessary I receive voice messages, email, photos and phone calls. I feel confident, in the short period of time since closing that indeed, we made a wise choice.

Used Safe Home Watch Service (Mary & Ed Edwards) for the past 2 years. We get an e mail from them weekly or pictures if we request them taken. Call them & you will be IMPRESSED! They can't be beat!
