Default How to get rid of moles

We have moles tearing up our lawn. Any recommendations on how to get rid of them or pest control people to help would be appreciated.

When we lived on the farm we had a real mole problem. There are traps you can buy but I would worry that an animal might get hurt in one. I have always heard that you can get rid of them with bubblegum. You can read about it here:

I found this site on the internet that may be of help:

There is a mole bait thst resembles the shape of a grub worm. Very effective. Can find them online at any do it yourself store.

I use Bray's Pest Control, 352-796-7828. The first time I called them, I had one gopher in my yard. The next day when they came out there were THREE gopher mounds. They sent someone out the next day to get rid of them and by that time I had FIVE. Well, they got rid of them, and come every month to check out my yard for moles and gophers. If they find any sign of them they immediately take care of it. My neighbor was also having problems. She paid someone over $800 to get rid of them and when they came back they wanted to charge her again. I told her about Bray's and she is very happy with their services. There is an initial contract but after that is paid up there is a monthly charge - its well worth it - at least that is my opinion.
