Default RO-MAC Garage Door Opener

Does anyone know how to re-program a RO-MAC garage door opener? I think one of my neighbors has the same code as me because I find my garage door open at odd times.
Thanks

I think you have to take the opener to the Romac office on Rolling Acres Rd. to have it re-programmed. It's located on the right side behind the lumber yard past the Citizens facility. You have to drive in to the back to get to the office.

Just call Romac 748-4575. I did this before. It's easy. You just need to be in the garage. You point the remote at the overhead unit. You press the +and - buttons at the same time, to get the reprogramming started. You wait for the red light to blink and enter a nine digit combo of the buttons. If you have the manual, your code should be on the back cover. If you and your neighbor have the same code, you just need to change one digit. If you don't have the manual, you can just make up a nine digit code. Theres a few more buttons to presse and all is reset. I did this about a year ago, so I don't remember the entire porcess but Romac will walk you thru it. Good luck.

My neighbour, three doors down was also able to open our door. I changed codes, or so I thought. Called Romac, they changed codes, changed Reciever boards etc many times but could not resolve -- last guy stated that it must be interference from my airplane remote control Transmitters!! I threw him out of the house, went online and bought a Genie Reciever, three remotes and an outside keypad for $84! Took 10 minutes to install. Will never buy/deal with Romac supplied products.
