Default Framing

We have some very old paintings that have been in storage that we would like to reframe and display in our new house. Any recommendations? Relatively expensive paintings.

Both Michaels and JoAnn Fabrics have picture framing departments. You can spend as much or as little as you wish. Each place has a framing expert there to advise you.

Check out Glen Haven Gallery, 2545 South Street in Leesburg (CR 44) just past the Salvation Army Church ...it's a pink building

They do custom framing and their work is very high end...you'll be proud to display anything they do for you in your home

Last year we had them mount and frame a 3' x 2' tapestry that had belonged to my grandmother, came out fabulous and is in our front hall.....my wife had them mount some hand embroidered napkins that her aunt made along with some old family pictures in shadow boxes...we had had a regular frame shop do this a few years ago and just never was happy with the job

she was very pleased with the artistic guidance that they gave her on how to present these treasures that came from Italy...they take their time trying to understand exactly what you are looking for and offer you some great ideas...but they don't push

it wasn't inexpensive by any stretch...but when you see the quality of the work that they do, you'll just take out your credit card and say 'please, do it'

not certain if they are open yet...give them a call 352.267.4271 glenhavengallery.com

DK Art Supply and Framing did nice for work for me and at a good price.
Hobby Lobby has fair prices. Michales is very expensive even with a 50% off coupon.

They even did a unique framing job for me and duplicated this picture that hangs in a corner. Hard to do.

I also recommend DK Art Supply and Framing. Very creative with an unusual piece, competitive price and best of all, a small LOCAL business. Well worth the short drive down 441/27!
