Default Sliding glass door wheel replacement

Can anyone recommend a contractor to replace wheels on a lanai sliding glass door. What is the approximate cost?

That's a good question. The clock is ticking on all our sliding doors. The wheels wear out, and it gets harder and harder to open and close the door.

Default Try "Door Ease" lubricant first

I suppose in time those roller wheels can wear out but:

Most likely the track at the floor is just dirty and in need of lubrication.
You might be amazed at the difference if you simply clean the track, then rub "Door Ease" Lubricant once or twice along the top edge just where the rollers touch the track.

Hardware stores carry it. It's like a big red crayon.

AGS® Door-Ease Lube Stik (DE-2) - Lubricants - Ace Hardware

Sorry, sliding glass door repairmen.

Lowe's carries some of these rollers, you would have to take one with you to match it. The hardest ones to find are the ones for the rolling garage door screens.

They can be found at "ACE HARDWARE" Spanish Springs. I think they were $11.95 each. Cost me $100.00 to replace all of them.
