Default Buying real estate through an Agent

I know that sometime people name a realtor to represent her/him to buy a house. My TV salesperson is obstinate in trying to sell us a used house, in spite of several times telling him that we want a new house. Now I think I am going to be taking for a ride. How do you find out what other houses are selling for in the area?. We are planning a visit in October but I am even rethinking if I can life with this practice. Any advise???? Please

Exclamation Find Another Realtor!

What about a different Realtor? My TV sales person was very attentive to our needs..

Don't let it get you down, there are lots of other Village Realtors out there..I would strongly suggest you find another one..

I think I did not explain myself clearly. I am asking if it is wise to name a realtor to represent us, as buyers, to buy a new house in TV

If you contact any old realtor from outside The Villages they will only be able to show you pre-owned (used) homes. To see new homes you must contact a realtor who works for The Villages. You can contact them directly through the website
