We are getting our NH home ready to sell and need to replace the old carpet throughout the house. Has anyone or know of someone that have experience with using these folks? They advertise all the time up here in the NH/MA area. The commercial is the one that says they will install next day if you want - Empire Today.

Right now they are advertising buy one room of carpet and get 2 more free. The free is only the price of the carpet for those rooms. You have to pay for the padding and installation of the rooms, but the price is so great I wonder if it is for real or a come on with "gotchas" like Home Depot and Lowe's.

Why would you say, "Don't". We have been pleased with them both times we used them up north. Did you have a bad personal experience down here?

My mother in law used them here in The Villages when she was selling her first home. The did a good job, the carpeting was installed "the next day" as they say, however, the crew that did her installation would not take a credit card for payment. There was also some difficulty concerning payment by personal check. Make sure you have how payment is to be made clarified before you have them do the job.

I'm sure that the company hires sub-contractors to do the work and that means customer satisfaction can vary from one location to another and there could even be differences in satisfaction within an area depending upon which crew is used.
