Default Looking for a reliable Auto Repair Service

NEED HELP!
Just got back to TV from a summer up north only to find the power steering in my auto is not working. Took the car from the garage and drove it a bit to make sure all things worked. Parked in driveway and when I was going to store later in the day, I noticed power steering fluid was on the driveway.
LOOKING for a good/reliable repair shop. There were a few listed when I did a search on TOTV but they were somewhat dated. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Merediths auto on co rd 25 across from the blue parrot just north of griffin ave and cr 25 intersection. I Have used Merediths going on 14 years now...always exceptional work and reasonable price.

I recommend Wildwood Tire Co. 352-748-1739 On Rt. 44 just a little east of Rt. 301. Reasonable pricing and honest.

Honest auto repair shops seems to be a recurring theme here on TOTV. We've been using Hutson Automotive Repair, 3201 US 27\441, Fruitland Park. They're right next door to Stavros Pizza. They've been there for almost 30 years. They open at 8, and try to do all oil changes at that time to allow for regular auto repair work during the day. They're busy and they're reasonable and they don't need to find questionable work to stay in business. The owner's name is Craig Hutson and that's who you see when you bring your car in for service.

I'm glad you had a good experience with them. I however, had a much different encounter. My mom had been going to them for about 8 years. For the simple things I guess they are fine. Anything beyond a tune-up and your putting the life of your car at risk.

My mothers car had a blown head gasket. After and month and more than $2,000 the car was still not repaired. I took it out and had another place look at it. I was told the car was basically beyond repair.

When trying to resolve this situation they would never return phone calls and when I showed up one time Oren ran out the back door and I was told he was out picking up parts!

Unfortunately she is the type of women that does not like to pursue legal action and I regrettably respected her wishes.
