Default Lanai Insulation

Our lanai is quite warm (west in the back). We would like to insulate the attic above. Any recommendations on spray insulation. Thank you.

The Solar Guys does blown in insulation. But, insulating a ceiling above an unconditioned space will not do much, if anything, to cool the lanai. That is why the builder never insulates the garage and lanai ceilings.

Ours was done as part of our lanai enclosure project, the area was around 13 by 31 and the cost was around $600 for R38 blown in insulation, I think Munns did it. This was actually contracted through FullView, I just happened to see the cost when I signed on the work being completed. You might also try installing some shades to block the sun, I would tend to have these on the outside, but that has potential problems, so I would then go for very light colored shades on the inside.
