Default Landscape Lighting

I would like to install landscape lights in the back of my home. The back of my home faces a villa wall. I am also contemplating LED or just the regular lighting. I have had 3 quotes, 2 for LED, although it is expensive am told they last almost a lifetime, little to no maintenance- this appeals to me. Any recommendations and who did you use? Also had LED recessed lights quoted, replacing the regular cans installed by the builder, anyone make the switch?

Agree with this. We're using solar in our landscaping against our wall, only partial sun during the day, and they work great. Check the lumens (or whatever that is). I think we bought a spot at Home depot, $19. There are different prices for different brightnesses.
