Default Lawn care south of 466a

Hi

We are building in Collier, closing mid August and moving down late September. Any suggestions on lawn care? I get the feeling that most of the companies are "territorial" and focus on certain neighborhoods.

Deans seems to be one of the best. I visit a lot of home south of 466A, due to my business, and Deans is consistant in regards to workmanship. Others seem more reactive vs proactive. Deans also does not ask for you to pay and sign a years contract in advance.

I'm not sure they are territorial so much as they are just trying to be practical. If you are talking about lawn mowing, I have been told that it's easier to make a profit to mow 5 houses in one Village than it is to mow 5 houses in 5 different Villages.

We use Zoysia Green for spraying and Joe's Lawn Service for mowing (they use either a push mower or a new light-weight riding mower--very important on these lawns IMHO). We are always told how nice our grass looks. We are in Village of Gilchrist.

I use landsculpture lawn care. They are a full service company. 352 999 1929. I pay monthly, been using them for around 7 months. I found them to be very reliable. A lot of company's will want you to pay in advance, not a good idea, IMO.
