Default Looking for a mechanic for an old British sports car. Recommendations?

Looking for a mechanic to do regular maintenance on an old classic Jag. I’m in Fenney. Just finally arrived to TV permanently but have been visiting for years. Love all the incredible classics I’ve seen at the Spanish Springs car show in the past. So naturally I’m assuming the classic car community is strong. I’m hoping there is an enthusiast out there who might be able to give me a suggestion.

Thank you!

Make sure they have Whitworth wrenches. Back in college I had a 1956 XK-140 and I had to buy a set to work on it.

Thanks for the tip. My Older brother and I both own Jaguars. He’s quite good at rebuilding engines and working on the mechanics. Me, on the other hand, not so much. When Jaguar’s motto was “The blending of art and machine” I joked with him that he bought his Jags for the machine part and I bought mine for the art!
Appreciate the referral!

Brother Paul is rebuilding (with help of a master craftsman) xk120. I kid you not, he has been working on this car for over 25 years! It was supposed to be a driver but now looks like it might end up at Amelia Island as a show winner. I don’t have that attention to detail. I have a 67E type coupe series 1. It’s not a showstopper but it is fun to drive. I’ll be looking for your car as I’m driving around the villages! Thanks for your information.

Default Accutech

I've used AutoMasters in Leesburg for some work (oil, lube, AC, wheels and a few odds and ends but nothing major so far ) and have no complaints. I tried Accutech awhile back for some work and they wouldn't touch my 71 V12 XKE at that time (small garage and couldn't tie up a lift if something didn't go smooth and they couldn't get the parts easily). AutoMasters will diagnose the problem, locate a source for the parts, or let you get the parts. He has a very large garage and can store your car while parts come in which is really nice and it is very convenient.
