If you live in a new-er home, call warranty. The people who put in your lanai can fix it easily.

T and D is the BEST at doing anything under screen and with cement. But they are so sought after, you will need to wait a month or so.

Yeah, I thought about calling T&D but I really can't wait. I've got renters coming in next month and I want to make sure they aren't dealing with standing water. I've had to put it off because I never know when I'll be down there. Now I have about 2 weeks to get it done.
Any other recs? I just don't know whether to call a pool type contractor or plumbing type contractor.

Could you give a phone number for T&D? I was unable to find them.

I'd be surprised if they'd be interested in cutting in a lanai drain for you but for the right price maybe they would! I say this because it sounds like a small job for a large contractor. Maybe Brian Terry Vinyl or Randy (Randa Services) would be interested.

DRD, good suggestion. In stead of cutting into the floor, it might be easier (and cheaper) to have the drains cut into the aluminum toe-plate. They've become popular in TV.

That option does me no good whatsoever. Plus, I wouldn't pay someone to do something I can do myself.
I'm just looking for what is in the picture in the link I posted.

I've seen floor drains similar to the one you referenced in Sparr Building and Farm Supply on CR 44--if you intend to do the job yourself.

Two weeks is a very tight timetable to engage a contractor or handyman. Time may be on your side because the rainy season is past and the lanai is covered. How often have you seen standing water in the lanai?

I know this isn't what you want, but maybe this link can help someone else.
