Default Marble top table?

We brought a small marble top table that has been in our family 70+ years with us to TV. The top is mostly black with some white veins running through it. Over the years it has gotten water marks and I would love to have them polished out. I don't think it's something I have the capability or tools to accomplish. Any thoughts??

I would do a Google search on cleaning marble, as I recall you need to be careful what you use. Once cleaned, all you may need to do is to use a high quality sealer.
Hope this helps.

Thanks! I'd hoped you had seen my post. You seem to have a wide variety of experience. I'll give my friend Google a try.

OK, I do have polishing equipment if it needs a touch up, but I would definitely try the cleaning methods first. Send me a PM if you want to discuss further, or talk over the phone.
