Default Master shower renovation

Has anyone done this to eliminate tile and grout and who did you use?

New grout is not like old grout that dried up and changed color.

There are some alternatives to what you are planning. You can have the existing grout removed and replaced with the newer (epoxy?) grout that is waterproof. A less expensive option would be to use a colored sealer (I did this myself), cost was under $50, and took a few hours of work, that was at least 5 years ago, and shower is still in very good shape. I have seen a MAPIE product at Lowe's, this is not the one I used but MAPIE is a well known quality product.
