Default Mayflower, United Suddath or Atlas Atlantic...

Which interstate moving company would you choose? Why?

Felt like i was in great hand with Suddath. They orchestrated our move from Staten Island perfectly. I recommend them highly.

No national van lines....moved with various ones too many times in which the movers were transient, shady characters and our belongings arrived each time with a couple of nice things broken and some missing.

A local, family-owned moving company that will go cross-country (and many do) is best. The people they hire to empty your home and load/unload it and place it carefully in the destination is the key factor.

Moving is stressful enough without worrying that the guys emptying your home talk/act like they just got out of the pen.

We chose Suddath for our move from Northern VA last year because they had a storage facility near TV and we needed to store our stuff for at least 3 months till our house was built. No problems, courteous, on time, nothing broken or lost. Highly recommend.

We had all our "good stuff" packed by and into United Van Lines version of a POD. They carefully packed our stuff.

We needed to store it while our house was being built.

We closed at noon, the POD was on time at one. We hired the two men from Ocala that LadyDoc from this forum suggested. They charged SO little that we insisted they take more...no joke.

Not a thing got scratched or broken including a VERY LARGE mirror.

The rest of the stuff we put into a UHaul and brought ourselves or stored at a storage unit back in Cincinnati until we could get to it to move in a UHaul.

Worked for us.

We used Suddath and were very happy with the service, access and the price. We felt comfortable the moment the estimator arrived at our home. We also chose them because they have a facility here in TV. Highly recommend.
