Default Shutters and Gutters and Closets...OH MY

We have finally finished the bulk of the improvements on our new home that we wanted to make. We still have a few big things on the list but will probably not do them for a year or so. (enclose lanai, landscaping)

I want to give shout outs to all the companies we worked with...ALL were great, professional, punctual and delivered as promised.

Closets - We chose Custom Home Closet Company and worked with Kimmie. She designed exactly what I asked for, sent a quote and digital drawings within 3 days, installation occurred exactly as promised other than they thought it may take two days and they were finished by 3:30 on day one! Price was fair for what we got.

Plantation Shutters - Done by 48 hour blinds. Price was lower than 2 other companies I spoke with, delivered on schedule and installed in about 90 minutes. Very happy with the quality and the look. Only complaint is they can be hard to reach by phone.

Crown Molding - did entire house (2400 sq. ft) in 3 hours and can't find a flaw. Company is Creative Finish Carpentry.

Pull Down Attic Stairs AND Epoxy painted garage floor - Miller's Home services. Tim was great to work with, very fair price, beautiful end result.

Gutters - Hills Irrigation and Seamless Gutters - This is really my husbands area but he was happy with what they did as well.

Water Softener and Filter - We bought our own at Lowe's and had it installed by Mike Scott Plumbing, all for well under $1000...happy with the water quality and the ease of it all.

Golf Cart - Ordered one this past weekend from Carts and Clubs in Ocala...worked with Harold Thomas (who lives in the Villages). Appreciated the education he gave us on how they build their carts, etc. Low pressure, etc. Chose them over another store after all their salesman did was tell us why the other golf cart stores were so bad...and caught him in several lies.
Don't lie to me! I'm gone!

Bicycles - Got one from Village Cycles and one from Wildwood Cyclery (different brands).

I think that's it for now. I would say we have done our part in stimulating the economy of Central Florida!

Beth, thank you so much for sharing your vendor information! It is much appreciated, especially those of us in the same early stages of ownership in TV.
