Today I received an offer in the mail offering a furnice for $862 instead of $3328. The only time I have used Mid-Fla they installed a Mitsubishi AC/heat unit in my lanai and I was satisfied with the service. After contacting them to set up an appointment I found that, yes the furnace was $862 but the air conditioner was additional which, I guess if you read the whole offer you can surmise that the AC is a separate charge. I have not had any problems with my furnace (which is 7 years old) and the only possible problem I may have is with the compressor for the AC as I was told by another company that it should be replaced because it was using too much electricity. However, that was over 9 months ago and no problem with it yet.

Just wanted to get some other opinions on this. When they come to check the house they will let me know how much additional the AC is. Also I have had an ultraviolet light installed in my furnace to reduce mildew which may or may not have to be replaced.

I cannot stress enough how much we loved our service and fix with Sumter Air and Heat. We have an older home and unit, and they have been here on two seperate occassions to fix it. Once was our compressor, I believe. We were throroughly impressed and have had them back every 6 months to service it. Their prices are reasonable, they clean up after themselves and know thieir job. We were pleased.
