Question Mr. Handyman

There was an ad in yesterdays Sun for Mr. Handyman about installing cabinet hardware. We need to do that and was wondering whether anyone has had any experiences with Mr. Handyman?

Thanx

John

hi john, I just had one of the mr handyman people to my house a few days ago.All I needed was to have 2 new fluorescent bulbs put in my garage. I get too dizzy climbing up ladders anymore I need help. They told me that they would not charge me since my request was so plain and simple. So the man put them in and left. no charge. I sure never saw that kind of service before. But he left me a folder with their rates in it .Normally it is 148.00 for the first hour and 88.00 for the second hour. Then it keeps on going. A full 8 hour day is 764.00 But I had a good experience with them. Good luck. tom

I used Alan Byer, AAA Handyman Services, to install my cabinet hardware and was very pleased with the results. He is an advertiser on TOTV.

$148.00 for a handyman, yikes ! When I move down full time I'll only charge you 60 bucks an hour. $640.00 a day is enough for me. Hell, that's more than what I make now at greater than union scale.
