Default Pods

My husband and I are going to sell our house, move to TV and rent while we look for a place to purchase. We are thinking of doing a POD to store and move our things and we are looking for advice/reviews. Do you think this is a good option or is there another way to do this?

Thanks!

Congrats on your move. I cannot advise on the long term storage aspect of using PODs but my wife and I were very happy with using PODS for our move. We took the advice of this forum and got rid of most things. Furniture wise we only brought our MBR. We only needed 1 POD and the convenience of having it dropped off in our driveway for a few weeks gave us plenty of time to securely pack it. The POD was on its way to Florida the day after it was picked up and only sat in the warehouse here for a few days before it was delivered here to our new house....welcome home.

We did the Pod thing and it worked well. Plenty of time to pack and it was stored in Longwood under controlled conditions. We rented and when we bought they delivered to the house.
