Default Interior Designer Suggestions

Has anyone used an interior designer that they were very pleased with? Any suggestions would be very much appreciated.

My neighbor used Carol Dyer who has a column in The Daily Sun. I think their home and their previous one too are just amazing, elegant, welcoming, dramatic and so beautiful and most of all, LIVEABLE!!!

I refuse to have a decorator...but, BUT, Jenifer Thiemann from Southern Lifestyles who worked with my dear friend SwimDawg is another choice I would make, but she is only available if you buy stuff there. AND we did buy some stuff there so I think I am going to have her come by and critique me.

Everyone likes our home because I tell everyone that if they don't like it, please lie.

Default Leta Hilton

Leta used to have her own design studio in Virginia, and until recently worked with Anchor. She now does consulting on her own. She is a Villager in Mallory and is in the phone book. Sorry I don't have her number since I am out of town.

Pat Czermak teaches design classes at The Lifelong Learning College, along with having a design business, A Class Act. 352-259-5297 You might give her a call and I think she might give advice by the hour.

Default Designers are great but

more important, go with a design that gives you a "warm fuzzy"....You will be amazed at how happy you will be with YOUR choice....Last resort, check out all the GREAT home magazines and head for the stores, better yet, head for North Carolina, furniture capital of the world.

Default Ruth Dyer

We worked with Ruth Dyer and are very happy. She just opened a storefront on 441, on the right after Dell Webb) called Finishing Touch. Ruth works with your budget. In our case, we brought down a lot of accessories... tables, art work, etc. and she pulled it together with new pieces.
