Default Need of an Engineer

Recommendation for an Engineer to submit a wind volicity report for a permit to install a pergola. Have ARC approval already. Thank you in advance.

Is this a custom designed pergola or a pergola kit? If it is a kit, the company who makes it should be able to provide what you need without hiring an engineer.

Sumter county building department provided me with a list of local engineers for a project I was going to do myself, I found out a much better solution was to use a contractor for the entire project, sorry I did not save the list. The office at Pinellas Plaza was very helpful, and for my project, I was given a cost of $1000 for the engineer signed documents. There may be other alternatives, but getting this list would be a good starting point.
