For something like this, I'd give Rupert Cross (352/406-8814) a call. He's been working in TV for over 7 years, is reasonably priced and knows his stuff.

What are they spraying for? Bugs...or fertilizing?

Unless you can water, everyone is in the same boat. It will rain in June...good Lord willin'.

Gracie, if the lawn needs replacing odds are there were bugs that had to be killed before sod could be placed.

784 -- Rupert is a landscaper/groundskeeper. He's honest and ethical. His biggest fault is he's Jamaican and doesn't always show up on time (drives me nuts -- I just make him call me when he's on his way and meet him).

He put in a brick patio for one of my friends that is just beautiful. He does regular maintenance for a few people I know. I've also asked him to help me with tree removal, major trimming, lawn issues. He's never failed me.

Who was your contractor? Sounds like it could have been the same one that I used.

Typically when replacing sod the first thing that is done is to kill the old sod, spraying of Roundup usuall does the trick, after a couple of weeks.
