Getting ready to have my 50Yr old Jaguar repainted. Would like a recommendation if you recently had a classic car repainted. It will be a down to bare metal repaint, including under the hood. There is very little bodywork required but I'm sure there will be a little. Looking for a first-class job and I'm not in any hurry.

Since you haven't received any replies, here's a suggestion. Even with the pandemic the Cruise-ins are still being held the third Saturday of every month at SS square. Good opportunity for you to question some classic car owners on where they had their car painted.

Every Friday in the Daily Sun there is an 'Wheels' section and a resident's classic car is displayed. Usually their name and history of the car is given. If you see one you like, I'm sure the car owner wouldn't mind if you called.

As you might have seen on NBC Sports channel NBCSN, Mechum Auto Auctions are held in Kissimmee, Florida (near Disey) quite often. Maybe attend the next auction and find some paint dealers, talk to some of sellers and buyers.
