Default Need recommendations for auto repair

I'm almost ready for the 22,500 mile service on my 2020 Hyundai Tuscon. I will not go back to Jenkins. Can anyone recommend an honest, reputable garage? TIA.

Firestone in Oxford or Michael's Automotive in Fruitland Park.

Sumter Tire is a good shop, but, if you are having expensive work done, compare prices with other shops.

Wildwood Tire on 44, near 301. Reliable and never tries to cheat you.

I agree with the above recommendations BUT if the car warranty requires this to be done by a DEALER this may not work, and I cannot recommend a dealer.

I have never seen a car warranty that requires a dealer to perform regular maintenance. It is not a requirement.

Google the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act.

The last time I went there a month ago, I felt cheated. They charged me $200 to recharge my AC, when I told them in advance that it did not need a charge. I wanted them to verify that it needed a new AC compressor and to give me a price. Instead, they told me that the AC was working fine and it didn't need anything. That was total hogwash, because I already knew the AC was not working. I took the vehicle to Michael's Automotive, who diagnosed a defective conpressor in 5 minutes, gave me a price, and replaced it the next day. Apparently, Wildwood Tire just didn't want to repair my vehicle.

Dealers do not have to be the one to preform normal warranty service checks.
I had my Lexus routine service checks done at a reputable independent shop. They are able to look up the factory recommended services, and document the work in the industry standard web service that records vehicle records.
Now if you want free warranty work done under warranty, the dealer is your only choice.

Try Hyundai of Central Florida in Clermont. It’s next to Costco.

We used Kraken Automotive in Wildwood: 352-234-6872 They are ranked a 5-star rating and Scott did an excellent job.

What's your issue with Jenkins?

For simple work, like oil change and tire rotation and balance, Walmart on 441 in Summerfield. Steer clear of the Walmart auto shop in Oxford.

Not the OP but my issue with Jenkins is their inability to be honest. While finishing up the paperwork on my recent Genesis purchase, the finance guy tried to sell me a warranty for wheel damage stating the cost of a single wheel replacement was $1300 each. I promptly did an internet search and found an entire set of OEM wheels was $1400. I promptly told him he just lost his dealership the sale with his lie. Needless to say the GM stepped in with mass concessions to save the sale but I made it clear that one more lie and I'm walking.
