There is a sign at the building that was Circuit City, in Rolling Acres Plaza, that says a Michaels will be opening there. It will be near Target, Staples, and Walgreens, and will be golf cart accessible. It is not far from JoAnn's but JoAnn's is not golf cart accessible.

Wonderful news! Do you know if there is an A.C. Moore's around anywhere? I actually like them better than Michaels. How about any fabric stores other than JoAnn's. Thanks for the info...

So glad to hear that Michaels is moving in to the Villages, however I hope AC. Moore will also be our neighbors. Yipee Just think how creative we will all be. June 12 will be our 39th anniversary and last year we signed for our new villa in Hemingway on June 12. Only one month and twenty-two days until we are true Villagers!!!

Great news about Michael's. Now I wish they would put in a Christmas Tree Shop. This is a wonderful store that originated on Cape Cod and is primarily located in the northeast. This store has many great bargains on holiday decor (Not just Christmas) and dishes, lamps, some furniture, window treatments, and many other interesting treasures. You can always find a bargain!

I agree with AC Moore's.....great store!
