I'm crossing mine along with you.
Ee are packing our pod today. We'll close on Nov. 3rd..

I would LOVE to have a Costco near by. I'll miss mine in Rochester MI.

What is the difference in Costco and Sam's Club? I don't think I've ever been in a Costco. I've been in a BJ's which is similar to Sam's Club.

We bought our children Sam's Club memberships. My stepdaughter said she liked Sam's but she said not to renew her Sam's Club membership because Costco is closer to her home in Maryland. According to her, they are very similar.

Another vote here for Costco. It's the only thing left that I miss. I don't even care anymore that the airport is so far... I have no desire to leave this place.

Anyone who thinks Costco is just about 50 rolls of paper towels and 40 lbs of potato salad is mistaken. Great prices on everything (including electronics) and a much nicer variety of things than Sam's. Their Kirkland store brand items are usually rated very high by Consumer Reports.

I was talking about Costco's, Graciegirl. We have been members for over 19 years. I love that store.

Hi Cuz,
They are similar. I sometimes go to Sams because it is closer to home than the nearest Costco. However, Costco generally has lower prices and much greater variety of merchandise.

I too would love to see a Costco.

QUOTE=bike42;302844]Sweetbay is supposed to be coming to the 466A center. The scale will probably be like Colony Cottage. Big stores -- Macy's, CostCo?, the national chains will go into the big shopping center next to the new town square Brownwood, on Rt 44.[/QUOTE]

They have great service. It is great to buy large items at Costco because they have FREE shipping.
