Default Seeking licensed electrition - manufactured home

Pike's Electric doesn't service anything in manufactured homes, so please don't clog up this thread with recommendations for them. I already called them.

I have Lake Sumter Electric's number and left a message for them already.

We don't want a handyman. Licensed professional electrician only.

We have two outlets that have ceased to function, we've already tried toggling the breaker, opened the outlet casing to check the wire (a thick copper wire broke when we tried to pull it up, and broke again, and then again. Clearly that's part of the problem).

We will not be doing it yourself. We need to know if any of you who live in, or have lived in, the Historic Section, have found a reliable, reasonable, licensed professional electrician.

We did try Mr. Sparky but they refuse to even see if they have any availability unless we open an account with them. Meaning, I give them all my info, and maybe they might be able to help in a month? Or on a day I won't be home? Or not at all? I don't get to find out without creating an account first. So they don't get our business.

So - Pike's is out. Mr. Sparky was a non-starter. Lake Sumter Electric is pending a call-back from them, hopefully tomorrow morning.

Any others?

Appreciate the responses.

I would try Lenhart, 352-748-5818, but I am not sure if they work on manufactured houses. But, most electricians probably will. I would stay away from franchised businesses like Mr. Sparky.

I recently had Hayes Electric do some work at my home. I Highly recommend them, hopefully they can work on your home.

Second for Hayes electric.
NOTE: a relative has a mobile home, and we found many electrical problems, ended up replacing all of the switches and outlets. It turns out the ones he had were RECALLED years ago due to the spring contacts where the wires are pushed in were failing. This was a DIY project, but I have used Hayes for other work and they were very good.
