Default Old Sewing Machine

I just received a very, old, sewing machine from my parents estate. It is motorized Singer (from a treadle).
Looking for someone that repairs them. Motor needs rewiring. Any thoughts as to where to start. I will probably need a few new parts as well. Thought there was someone in the Glenbrook area that worked on them.

If you do not find anyone to do this, I would check out ebay (and possibly amazon) for an old WORKING motor. You stated the existing one needs to be rewound, and this is very expensive, if it just needs a new cord that is easily done. It should be relatively simple to replace the motor. Now if the timing on the machine is out, this could be a whole other story, especially if you cannot locate a service manual.
