Default Hacienda Catering

Is it true as we've been told, that any club that wants to have a catered lunch or dinner MUST use Hacienda catering? We've had meals served by them on several occasions, and to put it politely, VERY disappointing.

This particular club does meet at Hacienda rec center and we've been told they are the only caterer allowed. Is there any way to get around this rule?

You are required to use Hacienda Catering if your function is being held at one of the regional rec centers. You can use anyone you want at the others.

I have been to events at the Mulberry Grove Rec Center that were not catered by Hacienda so there must be some other approved vendors - I just don't know who they are or what rules apply. Your best bet is go to the source - ask the Rec Department.

I know that Colony has had a couple of events catered by Sonny's. I'm not sure, but I think both were for non-TV club meetings (one was for tri-county exterminators; forget who the other was).
