Can anyone give us a good recommendation for a good vet in the local area?

Mulberry Grove Animal Hospital - Dr. Vance - 7101 SE Highway 42 Summerville
in front of St. Mark Church. We just moved here, no vet yet. Had our dogs checked out
before we moved. Had an emergency with my 8 pound Bichon. (stone adhered to her bladder). Very scary. Dr. Vance was wonderful (and very patient with me). Do not go to
the Villages Animal Hospital. I've heard about many bad experiences there. As far as price goes, you get what you pay for. They also kennel.

Dr. Valdez at The Villages Veterinarian. He's also in Fruitland Park which is very close. My husband has been a Veterinarian for over 35 years and he's talked and worked with many of the vets around. I asked him and he recommended Dr. Valdez.

We also took our baby to Mulberry Animal Hospital and are very pleased. I've heard lots of good things about Mulberry. I have heard negative comments about PAWS.

I've heard nothing but good things about the Mulberry Grove Vet Clinic. I've also heard good things about The Villages Vet. So, I'd probably check them both out and go with the one I'm more comfortable with.

I take my maltese to Paws, the doctor and staff are great. We have been going there for 3 years and would never go anywhere else.

Thumbs up

Definitely Mulberry Grove Animal Hospital - Been using Jennifer Teitelbaum, DVM for the last 4 years and she is great with our pupsters. Just recently met Dr. Vance our last visit there.
We've also used their kennel services.
