Default Plumber needed for hot water tank

Have a slow leak on a 30 gallon electric tank, I think it's time for a new one. Any plumber recommendations or advice appreciated. North side of Villages. Thank you

We used Isherwood Plumber and he is great. Robert is great and reliable and honest.

He will tell you the price first and he is good to deal with and he sticks to his quote.

You may also want to check with Action Jackson, phone number is in the paper under classifieds, he is good.

Just curious, what kind of leak, age of the water heater. Is it a connection leak from plumbing or the tank itself.

Mike Scott replaced our gas fired tank. They worked with the gas company and replaced the tank with labor for $600.00
$10 a month for 5 years,no interest and the $10 is added to the monthly gas bill.

It could be a gasket around the heating rods or the thermostat. If it is old I would just replace it. At that age time to replace maybe with a energy efficient model. Mine 18 years old also and looking to replace it.

There is really no such thing as an energy efficient electric hot water heater--resistance heating elements have been the same since Tom Edison, the only thing you can do do to save $$ is put in a timer to turn of the heater when you're sleeping.

Getting a super heat pump heater is a waste unless , you know you're gonna live to 120
