We did this, if I can suggest the following:
We drew up a set of plans, and got ARC approval before we started. Then we showed our neighbors what we were planning. We had a hard date for completion, so we got 3 bids, while T&D was one of these, they had so much work their time frame for an appointment to discuss the project was AFTER our hard completion date. We used Killcrease, but in reality Joseph Sweeting LLC did 95% of the work, and they were EXCELLENT, 352-209-7676. There were several items that we included in the design, additional electrical outlets, additional drainage, 50% sun reduction screening, etc., that have made a big difference in the final product. Send me a PM if you would like to discuss further. We did have the overall contractor get all of the PERMITS for the project, start to finish, 2 weeks for 800 sq.ft. birdcage.

DnJ Constuction. Hi, we have just completed having our lanai made part of the house and now the birdcage is being finished. An absolutely 100% perfect job by DnJ construction. We too had at least three bids and loved these guys from the start. They are a uncle and nephew team and are fantastic to work with. The people that work for and with them have all been the very best. I will only say that you should Include them in your bidding process. They will win you over and Always remain the same attitude while completing your job. BTW, they did indeed come in with the lowest bid and well worth it.
