I just had Prism TV installed last Friday. I already had DSL (3.0) & phone with CenturyLink.
I am very happy with Prism, but my DSL has slowed to a crawl. I have CNN as my home page, and it takes 90 seconds to load - it's like watching paint dry. I did not have this problem pre-Prism installation. CenturyLink customer service had me do a speed test, and it tested at 2.77 mps which is fairly in line with the 3.0 I'm paying for - however, in actual fact my AOL dial-up of 10 years ago was faster. So they're saying it's my computer, not their service. But it's funny how this change happened immediately following Prism. Has anyone else experienced similar issues? |

I have prizm TV and love it.
I upgraded to the ? 10.0 and it runs very good. If I remember correctly the guy that installed mine said that if you have a couple of TV's on it will slow down the computer speed. Try turning off all TV's and let us know if there is adifference in the speed. I am interested to know if this is true or not.

Thanks for responding.
My DSL speed has improved a bit, though it's still not what it was before. I may have to upgrade to 10M. No matter what, I am very pleased with Prism TV - the picture quality is so much better than Comcast cable. |

I just got Prism installed today with a "bundle package." Prism Complete TV, 10 meg. internet, and free unlimited long distance phone. for around $115.00 per month. Very happy with my internet speed connection at 10 megs. I had Dish network and got tired of losing signal with rain and storms!
