Smile Enclosing lanai

I am in the process of getting bids to have our lanai enclosed with windows.

Are there any contractors or companies you recommend.

I would love to see examples of their work?

I am in The Villages beginning 10/21 for two weeks and would appreciate any recommendations.

I have gotten bids from Whites & B J Freitag but not seen their work quality.

Thanks for your suggestions and comments.

If you would like to check out 1/2" tinted glass (fixed panels) with a Mitsubishi A/C
let me know.

You should get a bid from T&D as well. There are Lanai enclosures that are done many ways, some cheaply and some with quality. Make sure you get what you really want. We did ours which included electrical, air conditioning with shut off switch, extra sliding doors from the lanai to the yard, elevated floor to match the house with matching floor covering. These are just some things to think about. Our neighbors got a cheaper contractor and it shows.

Do a search and you will see both on prior threads. We just contracted a lanai enclosure with Brian based in large part on his past customer's recommendations.

Would it be possible to see your improvement while I am in town?

Thanks for your time.....

Default Lanai enclosure

Elite did ours (Lantana) and did a great job. If you call them, they will make arrangements to take you to houses where they did work. You can probably even see your style of home.

We called T&D, and they promised to come out and give us an estimate. But they never showed, even after several calls. One of our pickleball friends started an enclosure in January with them, and still not done. Good thing they still owe them money.

T&D Great company but has so much business, they are not bidding on many projects lately and when they do they are very high.

ELITE...great company good work but we found them pricy for what we wanted.

Brian Freitag......small business....good prices great product. WE had our lanai enclosed with glass, a new room addition, crown moulding, and a built in entertainment center from Brian........NO problems..HIGHLY recommended.

We used Fortin Construction and were very pleased. Did a full enclosure of a lanai, had to add more roof line, matched it to the outside, raised floor to match interior, did all painting, electrical, heat pump for heat and AC. His crew was excellent and professional. He does not allow port a potties on property which is a huge plus and they do not come in the house. Things were cleaned up at the end of the day. Would highly recommend them.

Default Enclosure

Two of my neighbors had Elite enclose their lanai's. They both were very happy with the results.
